How it works
Five stages, from first questions to a written plan
Background information gathering
File review of previous assessments, interview with parents and relevant caregivers and schools.
Caregiver interviews
Functional Assessment Interview.
Direct observation
Antecedent-Behaviour-Consequence (ABC) data collection directly when onsite and review of ABC data collected by family and school in the interim of site visits.
Indirect assessment measures
Indirect measures such as, but not limited to, the Motivation Assessment Scale (MAS), Questions About Behavioral Function (QABF) and Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS).
Written report
Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA) report written and supporting behaviour support plan.
